German Masters: Day 2. Vladimir Sinitsin’s prediction
The first day saw unexpected results. I’m Particularly upset with Mark Williams, who lost the decisive frame to Martin Gould and spoiled our bet with 3.75 odds. The bet could have compensated for the failures of other bets. Let’s see what happens on the second day.
In the second session of the day, I want to pick Mark King’s win over Stuart Carrington (the odds on that are high because Carrington beat Ronnie O’Sullivan in the qualifying round). The second pick for acca is Liang Wenbo’s win over Ryan Day. The Chinese is finding his stability at the new level. The acca is very risky, but if successful, will allow improving things.
In the evening session, the fight to get into the quarterfinals will be among those who have already played in Berlin. Trump is in good condition, I expect him to win against Zhang Anda with a margin of at least two frames. The match between Mark Selby and Stephen Maguire is also very interesting. Stephen is now in good shape. The match will not be easy for Selby, but he’s got to win.
