Reports suggest that Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United have suffered a setback in their pursuit of Ajax’s Mohammed Kudus.

In a setback for English giants Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United, Ajax attacker Mohammed Kudus has indicated his intention to sign a new contract with the Dutch club.

According to a report by 90min, the trio of Premier League clubs were eyeing a move for the 22-year-old Ghanaian international at the end of the season. However, Kudus has now stated in an interview that he is content at Ajax and wishes to continue his development at the club.

Kudus spoke about his satisfaction with his current form and the progress he has made at Ajax, citing his desire to win silverware with the club. He added that negotiations for a new contract would be handled by his agent, allowing him to focus entirely on Ajax’s title challenge.

He said, “I am very happy at Ajax at the moment, but I will be even happier if we win the double. Why wouldn’t I want to renew? I play and develop well. Now it’s about negotiation and valuation. When the time is right, we’ll see how it goes. But that will have to be conducted with my agent. I want to focus entirely on the title race.”

This development will come as a blow to Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United, who were hoping to bolster their attacking options with the addition of Kudus.
