Moses Caicedo has insisted he is solely focused on Brighton and Hove Albion and is not concerned about transfer rumors and interest from other clubs.

Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo has quashed rumors of a potential move away from the club during the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old Ecuadorian international, who is reportedly on the radar of several top Premier League teams, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Arsenal, has stated that his focus remains solely on helping Brighton achieve their goal of qualifying for Europe.

The Seagulls, who sit sixth in the Premier League, rejected a £55 million bid from Chelsea last week and have made it clear that they have no intention of letting Caicedo leave during the current transfer window. Caicedo’s contract with Brighton expires in 2025.

The Ecuadorian international speaking on Brighton’s website  said “I am focused on Brighton. I am here, I’m playing every day. Things from outside don’t trouble me, nor does it take that focus away because I’m focused only on here,”

“I handle [the rumors] well. You hear rumours here and there, but I only try to be focused on the club where I am now, the club which opened the doors for me to be playing every week.”
